Caven Wagstaff (BSc) Hons
I've had the pleasure of being a houseparent having worked in both co-educational and single sex boarding schools across the UK. I have developed a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the importance that education plays in each child's life.
During my time as a houseparent, I worked closely with children and parents to understand their individual needs and requirements. Most importantly I recognised that one size does not fit all when it comes to educating children and I have been privileged over the years to help many parents ensure that they find the right school for their child to move on to.
I have seen firsthand how finding the correct environment to suit each child's specific needs enables them to reach their full potential and flourish as they move through their school years.

If you have concerns about any aspect of the private education system, please get in touch and we will work together to find the best solution.

Akenna Kublal – Educational Consultant, Caribbean

Akenna Kublal serves as our Educational Consultant for the Caribbean, bridging the gap between families in the region and world-class UK boarding schools. With a deep understanding of Caribbean culture and education, she introduces families to CJE’s expert guidance led by Caven, providing impartial advice and ensuring a smooth transition for students moving to the UK.
Many Caribbean families find UK boarding schools to be a natural extension of their child’s education. The British education system has influenced many top schools in the Caribbean, sharing similarities in curriculum structure and academic excellence. This makes the transition to a UK boarding school familiar yet elevated, offering students access to specialised programs, world-class facilities, and a global network of opportunities that can significantly enhance their future prospects.
Drawing from her experience as a life coach, personal development coach, and etiquette instructor, Akenna has worked extensively with students, helping them build confidence and essential life skills. Her role at CJE includes guiding families through every step - from offering support with school selection, applications, and visa processes.
Currently based in Trinidad, Akenna supports families not only in Trinidad & Tobago but also in Barbados, Jamaica, and other Caribbean nations seeking the best educational opportunities abroad.
